In ten years of tearing apart and putting back together vintage motorcycles I have seen weird stuff. Drug stashes in handlebars, a few bucks burried in bondo, tampons and chicken wire used for body filler, but this one is funky. I thought, what the hell is clunking around in this gas tank? And here it was. . .

I think it was three years ago or so I fell off my skateboard at a swap meet and broke my arm, snapped the bone right in half, a three year old could have read the x-ray. A $20 dollar garage sale plank cost me about $11,000 by the time I got the aftermarket parts installed. I have not gotten on a board since. But hey, you should. Oh, but I did finish the swapmeet.

Proud to call him a friend. My dad was telling me that my cousins, who I have not seen in years, had kids in the 8th grade at the same middle school I went to years ago (Haggard, MS, Plano, TX) and it reminded me of how time flies, whether you are having fun or not. So have some fun! Ran across this pic of Doug on the net, thanks to Life magazine. Now he had some fun. . .diggin the hat.

Okay we are back on line from a little work on the site. Keep looking for more changes coming soon.
On the front burner right now is ENGLISH 102, the followup to. . .well. . . English 101. More gearhead how-to madness. Carbs, front ends, and ELECTRICAL, yes you heard it right, electrical how to. I will let you now when you can PRE-ORDER your copy.

Here is my Award Cycle Finned cover mocked up on the engine I am building for my street bike. Swanky and I must say, the rarest aftermarket part EVER. Sadly the guy who made them never perfected the bushing for the crankshaft so I have to take it over to my friend Mike Parti for some massage. Should be good to go when done tho.
